Biography
Basanti Majumdar is a Professor in the School of Nursing and Department of Family Medicine at McMaster; a Professor with Graduate Studies in the department of Nursing Science at the University of Toronto; Associate Faculty of the Institute on Globalization and the Human Condition at McMaster; an Associate with the HSc Global Health Graduate Program in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster; and Adjunct Professor with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (Oshawa) and Manipal University, Karnataka, India. Basanti holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Delhi University; a Master of Education from Columbia University; a Master of Teaching from McMaster University; and a Doctor of Philosophy from Michigan State University.
